Dr. Elvis Ebikade is Founder & Managing Principal of Vansam Advisory. His work combines chemical engineering, technology development, airline SAF procurement, producer-side commercialization and strategy advisory.
Elvis earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Delaware, where his research focused on catalysis, biomass conversion and waste valorization. He co-founded Lignolix to commercialize technology developed through his doctoral research.
He subsequently worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group and a Strategy Consultant at Earth Finance, served as Sustainable Fuel Strategist at Southwest Airlines, and led producer-side commercialization as Director of Strategic Market Development at Bioleum.
This experience allows him to connect what a technology can produce with what customers will accept, what projects can deliver and what capital providers can finance. Through Vansam, he helps SAF producers and project developers maximize durable, risk-adjusted enterprise and project value by designing backward from airline and target-market requirements.
His previous industry leadership and advisory experience includes the Sustainable Aviation Futures North America Congress, 4AIR Customer Advisory Board, ASTM International Committee D02, Aviation Climate Taskforce and Airlines for America.
